The team at Laurence Mechinical Services has an extensive range of skills and experience. The Management Team includes;

Brendan Cosgrove, Managing Director Brendan Cosgrove, Managing Director

Brendan is the founder and Managing Director of the company. Brendan has over twenty years experience in mechanical services excellence. Brendan qualified as a plumber in 1986 and he had already gained extensive industry experience when he founded Laurence Mechanical Services (LMS) in 1992.

In its first year LMS employed a team of five and had a turnover of €265,000. Since then the company’s Turnover peaked in 2008 at 21 million, delivered by over 100 employees. In recent years the company has consolidated and this solid financial planning means that the company is ideally positioned for growth and ready to expand its customer base both in the UK and Ireland.

Brendan’s comprehensive knowledge of both mechanical installation and business management plays an imperative role in the success of the company. His drive for excellence also ensures that every project achieves the highest quality standards and each one is completed within budget and on time.

Fergal Maguire, Contracts Director Fergal Maguire, Contracts Director

Fergal has a B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying and Cost Economics and a City & Guilds Cert. in Computer Aided Draughting and Design using Autocad. Fergal has worked with LMS since 1993 gaining indepth experience in mechanical services installation.

With Fergal’s experience in the field of quantity surveying, project management and the implementation of ISO he has played a major role in the expansion of the business. In 1998 Fergal was appointed as Projects Director and he has overseen significant projects such as Quinn Glass UK, with a value in excess of 8m sterling.

Frank Lovett, Contracts Manager Frank Lovett, Contracts Manager

Frank has worked with LMS since 1995 since then he has gained invaluable experience in the HVAC industry. Frank successfully completed a Project Management course with the Institute of Project Management and in 2003 was appointed Contracts Manager of the company. Frank has a vast knowledge of mechanical installation, process pipework, clean room conditions, air conditioning etc and will liaise with other trades to en-sure projects are complete effortlessly.

Kevin Coyle, Project Manager Kevin Coyle, Project Manager

Kevin graduated with a City & Guilds certificate in Precision Engineering. Kevin then worked in Toronto, Canada in Precision Engineering. In 1995 Kevin qualified as a plumber and this knowledge, combined with his experience in Precision Engineering, have proven invaluable to LMS and our clients.

Having progressed to the position of site agent and after attaining extensive hands-on knowledge of site management during his years as site agent Kevin was promoted to the position of Projects Manager in 2007

Kevin is also registered with the Resister of Gas Installers and is a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). He works alongside our Contracts Managers & our Safety Officer to ensure all projects are managed with the highest quality standards.

Joe Reilly, Health and Safety Manager Sean Reilly, Financial Controller

Sean attended Athlone Institute of Technology where he qualified with a diploma in professional accounting in June 1997 and passed his Association of Certified Chartered Accounts exam in June 1999. In 2002 Sean joined the LMS team. Sean plays an essential role in the financial element of the projects. Sean along with his juniors liaises with our contracts team to guarantee quality, proving successful, as we are ISO 9001: 2008 registered.
